On Sep 17. several Mock Trial students attended the 1st Otis James Lecture in Santa Barbara. Hosted by the California Coast Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the event featured many key figures in California law. One of the most important speakers at the event was Hon. Carlos R. Moreno, Assoc. Justice of California Supreme Court.
“Outstanding, how many times do we have a chance to meet someone so important to our history? It was a golden opportunity.” Said supervisor for Mock Trial, Mrs. Budny.
