Early Black Friday Deals

Early+Black+Friday+Deals

Several popular retailers will be having special Black Friday deals early.
Many stores such as Target, Best Buy, JCPenney, Macy’s and Kohl’s will be having sales on Thanksgiving. These stores also opened their Black Friday early last year.
GameStop as well as Bed Bath and Beyond will be opening their doors with exclusive sales before Black Friday. Last year, GameStop was closed on Thanksgiving.
However, many stores will be sticking to tradition and staying closed on Thanksgiving. Apple, Costco, Trader Joes, and Ikea are on the list, but numerous other stores will also be closed on Thanksgiving.
Black Friday is the start of the holiday shopping season which is accompanied by huge sales, so many people go shopping on this day to take advantage of the opportunity.
However, starting these sales early has sparked some controversy. Many people believe that these shops are forcing their employees to work instead of celebrating Thanksgiving with their friends and family.
Also, other retailers will feel tempted to match their competitors when they open their doors on this holiday. The idea of extending Black Friday to Thanksgiving day will inevitably spread as a result.
Store workers should be spending their Thanksgiving surrounded by their loved ones instead of working. Shoppers should also focus on the holiday instead of spending their day at a store.
For this reason, groups of people have began to boycott stores that remain open on Thanksgiving and offer deals.
Overall, however, it is the consumers choice whether or not they want to shop Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving since so many popular stores will be open.
And while many people love to spend Thanksgiving with their family and friends, others like to go shopping for deals, so the choice is yours.
