theLancer is the publication of the Advanced Journalism class at Thousand Oaks High School. The print newspaper is published as a student forum ten times per year. It is a member of the Journalism Education Association, National Scholastic Press Association and Columbia Student Press Association. Awards include nine NSPA Best of Show awards, a 5th place national ranking, a 1st place award for special edition, ten NSPA All-American awards and a CSPA Silver Crown.
