Dylan Yoon is a junior and part of the entertainment section of The Lancer Newspaper. This is his first year on the newspaper staff. He’s apart of the basketball program and enjoys many other sports outside of school.

Rebecca Tarbet is a senior and the features editor for The Lancer Newspaper. This is her second year on staff at The Lancer. Rebecca is involved in the dance program at TOHS and spends her free time playing the guitar.

Tanner Patterson

Tanner Patterson is a first year sports editor for The Lancer. He plays basketball and volleyball for Thousand Oaks. Much of his free time includes hanging out with his friends, as well as watching sports and racing. In the future, he wants to pursue a career in entrepreneurship and business.

Blake Saari is a senior and the editor-in-chief for The Lancer Newspaper. This is his fourth year on the newspaper staff. He’s the senior class president at TOHS and a member of The Center for Advanced Studies and Research. Also, he is a member of the varsity track team.

Natalie Venable, sophomore, is the Opinion Editor for The Lancer, and this is her first year on staff. In addition to being on the swim team at TOHS, she is the president of French Club. She loves to travel, surf and climb. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in journalism.

Abbey Austin-Wood is an active Lancer on campus, involved with the Link Crew, FCA Club, Environmental Club, Recycle Club, Mock Trial, and Lancers United Club. She is the Business Manager for The Lancer Newspaper and has had this position for two years now. This is her fourth year in journalism.

Brandon Cupples, senior, is the photographer for The Lancer Newspaper. He enjoys spending time with his friends and making videos in his free time. This is his first year in journalism.

Sophie Crivier, sophomore, is an In-Focus editor for The Lancer. She is a Link Crew Leader and Center Scholar in addition to being on JV Volleyball. She loves her dog, Chloe, very much, and she is an aspiring harmonica player.

Junior, Sierra Smith is a sports editor for The Lancer newspaper. She is the Vice President of Spanish club, and a member of FCA and Link Crew. She is a three sport athlete who is on varsity volleyball, basketball and lacrosse. When she isn’t playing a sport she spends her free time writing and drawing. She is currently a member of the Health Science Majors program, as she hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Anna Norton is the advertising manager for The Lancer, and she is the Vice President of Interact Club at TOHS. In addition to her dog, London, she loves college football, hockey and travelling. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career at Barstool Sports.

Junior Cameron Smith is a news editor for The Lancer newspaper. He is an amateur photographer, skilled climber and recreational biker. Besides writing for the Lancer, he writes reviews around Thousand Oaks. Being outdoors and exploring with friends takes up his time on the weekends.

Natalie Dulansky, senior, is Editor in Chief and an illustrator for The Lancer newspaper. Natalie enjoys dancing and other creative activities like photography and drawing. She has a deep interest in design and environmental protection and is working on an illustrated book to combine her two passions.

Cooper Goyette, junior, is an In-Focus editor for The Lancer Newspaper and a member of the EThOS academy. This is his first year as an editor at The Lancer. Cooper plans on going into marine biology or business when he is older. He also spends his free time either at the beach or taking photos.
