Giving a warm welcome to the future Laner of Thousand Oaks High School, 8th graders from different schools come to visit TOHS and get a little look at what their future holds. Are these incoming freshmen nervous, scared, excited? Let’s find out.

We asked 8th grader Gracie Corrteo from Los Cerritos Middle School what she’s most looking forward to when coming to Thousand Oaks High School. “I don’t know I wanna do swim so probably that” We also asked how she’s feeling about being an incoming freshman, “kinda like nervous and excited”.

We asked another Los Cerritos student if he’s looking forward to playing any sports, and if so what sport? “Football I want to play football, and I play every position,” said 8th grader Jake.

Looks like these incoming freshmen are more excited than ever to be coming to Thousand Oaks next year, and are ready to take on whatever comes at them.
